How can I submit documentation?

Signed forms and supporting documents can be returned to Lim Krewson, by email, mail, or in person by appointment.  Please note, if you decide to email documents to Lim Krewson, the documents must be scanned and emailed.  Photographs of documents are not acceptable.

How long does filing receipts take?

Filing receipts for petitions or applications filed with USCIS are generally received within 30-days of filing.

When can I obtain a Drivers License?

You may be eligible for your Driver’s License while your case is pending. Please consult with the Attorney Krewson if you have any questions about eligibility.

Can I travel abroad?

If you wish to travel abroad while your case is pending, please consult with Attorney Krewson prior to leaving the United States to confirm this will not negatively impact your case.

How do I check the status of my case?

If you have a case pending with United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (“USCIS”) you can check the status by visiting USCIS’ website at egov.uscis.gov/casestatus and entering the receipt number found your filing receipt.

How do I check the processing times of USSCIS?

You can check the current processing times with USCIS by visiting egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ and using the dropdown options to choose the specific pending form, category, and field office or service center.

How do I check the status of my case with EOIR?

If you have a case pending with the Executive Office of Immigration Review (“EOIR”)— Immigration Court—you can check the status online by visiting acis.eoir.justice.gov/en/ and entering your A-Number.
